“Free Breeeezyyy,” OBJ wrote. “The moral compass will never lie… we waitinn on yaaa.”
The post’s accompanying photo finds Beckham gifting CB a game-worn autographed jersey from when he was on the Giants.
Brown and Beckham’s relationship goes back to the wide receiver’s early days in the NFL when he exploded onto the football scene in the mid-2010s. Beckham is currently a free agent after spending last season with the Miami Dolphins.
Beckham isn’t the only superstar friend of Brown’s throwing their support behind the singer: Bow Wow also posted to social media calling for his “Ain’t Thinkin’ ‘Bout You” collaborator’s freedom.
“Free Breezy, free Breezy, free Breezy, I know we’re gonna yell it until it actually happens,” he said on Instagram Live over the weekend. “It’s an unfortunate situation. My man went over to Manchester to start rehearsal for the tour for the Breezy Bowl and they don’t want to let my dog be great. One thing I do know, he’ll be out in no time. He’ll be back doing what he does best.”
The arrest has been tied to a 2023 London nightclub attack, which allegedly saw Brown smash producer/promoter Abraham Diaw over the head with a bottle at Tape nightclub.
Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX stadium tour is now in jeopardy as the global trek is slated to kick off in Europe on June 8 in Amsterdam before coming to the U.S. on July 30 for a Miami show.
