While Snoop Dogg is now Death Row Records’ leader and one of hip-hop’s largest towering figures, he used to be tied very closely to the label’s former owner, Suge Knight.
At the height of Death Row’s dominance in the late ’90s, Knight helped Snoop emerge as one of the label’s biggest break-out stars, championing West Coast rap into the powerhouse it is today.
