In a music landscape often fueled by rivalry over artistry, Quota emerges as a breath of fresh air—a Canadian raptress with a rare trifecta of talents: infectious hooks, sharp lyrical depth, and fearless storytelling. Her versatility and authenticity have made her a standout voice in hip-hop, dancehall, and conscious rap.

A Global Sound, Ro

oted in Experience

Raised between North Carolina, Canada, and Jamaica, Quota’s sound fuses Southern grit, Caribbean rhythm, and North American soul. Growing up in a Rastafarian household, she was influenced by musical icons like Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, The Fugees, DMX, Nas, 2Pac, Jay-Z, and more. She started writing poetry at 14, transforming her words into music that speaks to all walks of life—no gimmicks, no filters, just real substance.

Quota cut her teeth in the industry with her brothers in a group that evolved into EMG (Entourage Music Group), where she honed her skills as a rapper, songwriter, and engineer. Over the years, she’s collaborated with notable artists and producers including:
• Vybz Kartel, Spragga Benz, Jahvinci, Pusha T
• Dre Knight (credits: Frank Ocean, Nicki Minaj)
• Black Ryno, and more

She’s graced major stages and opened for heavyweights like Rick Ross, The LOX, Drake, Future, Fabolous, Trinidad James, Omarion, Red Café, M.O.P., and Pusha T—building a reputation as both a lyrical force and a captivating live performer.

The Highlights
• National airplay and TV rotation on MuchMusic for Born to Hustle and Can’t Get Enough
• Feature track with Vybz Kartel (Dem So Bad)
• Collaborations across dancehall and hip-hop
• Performances at Honey Jam, Import Fest, Urban Stars Canada (Top 4 finalist), and national tours
